Priest Husney, founder of the Samaritan Museum, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Panama, Ezra Cohen, on a visit aimed at learning about the religious and cultural heritage of the Samaritan community.
During his tour of the museum’s sections, the Ambassador and his accompanying delegation viewed ancient manuscripts, rare artifacts, paintings, and documents that tell the history and rich heritage of the community.
The tour also included an engaging discussion about the history of the Samaritans and the uniqueness of their religious beliefs associated with Mount Gerizim.

Priest Husney, founder of the Samaritan Museum, received the Representative of the Argentine Republic to Palestine, His Excellency Mr. Martin Laforget, and his accompanying delegation. The delegation was on an official visit to learn about the history and culture of the Samaritan community, the oldest and smallest unified community in the world.
The ambassador and his companions toured the museum’s various halls, viewing ancient manuscripts, rare artifacts, and paintings documenting important stages of Samaritan history throughout the ages.
During his tour, he asked numerous questions that expressed his great interest in learning more about the life of the Samaritan community and its religious and social history. He also expressed his deep admiration for the exhibits he saw, which reflect this authentic Samaritan heritage.

The Samaritan Museum welcomed a group of foreign tourists this morning. They showed great interest in learning about the Samaritan heritage and enjoyed a guided tour with Priest Hosni, the museum director, who provided a comprehensive explanation of the exhibits on display, the community’s history, and its unique beliefs.

Today, Sunday, the Samaritan High Priest Husni, Director of the Samaritan Museum, welcomed a delegation from the Palestinian Archival Association headed by researcher Khaled Awad, the Association’s president, in an introductory meeting to explore avenues of cooperation and the museum’s accession to the association, in a way that enhances efforts to preserve and document the Samaritan heritage and highlight its presence on the Palestinian and international stage.
The delegation included Mr. Omar Al-Khatib, General Coordinator; Mr. Abdullah Omar, Head of the Projects Committee; Mr. Jamal Taha, President of Al-Sibat Association for the Preservation of Culture and Heritage; and Mr. Bishara Mahshi, a member of the Association’s Administrative Board. On the museum’s side, attendees included Ms. Salwa Al-Samri, Director of International Relations; Engineer Nahla Sala’ous, Website Supervisor; and Ms. Wafaa Abu Turabi, Media Officer.
The meeting discussed a number of important proposals, including documenting a selection of archaeological artifacts, organizing meetings and workshops with specialists in archiving and heritage preservation, building cooperative relations with institutions and centers that support cultural and knowledge exchange worldwide, and working to promote the Samaritan heritage through digital platforms and conferences.
The visiting delegation also toured the museum’s galleries, viewing its diverse exhibits that reflect the history of the Samaritan community and its religious and cultural heritage.
During the meeting, High Priest Husni highlighted the museum’s role in promoting Samaritan culture locally and internationally, shedding light on his own publications that document the Samaritan narrative and preserve its authentic legacy.
At the end of the visit, the request for the museum to join the Palestinian Archival Association was signed, with both sides affirming their commitment to continue working on the proposed ideas in service of their shared goals.

We were honored to welcome Dr. Adwan Adwan from An-Najah National University and retired Dr. Walid Al-Shoumali from Bethlehem University, on a visit filled with much love and appreciation.
Each of them wrote heartfelt and sincere words in the guestbook—words that touched our hearts and left a profound impact on us, as they carried feelings of respect and support, serving as a testament of affection that we cherish and take pride in.
The two guests also enjoyed a rich tour of history and knowledge within the Samaritan Museum, exploring its rare treasures, and expressed their great admiration for this preserved heritage and for the efforts made to document and present it in a manner worthy of its ancient history.

We were pleased to meet with Dr. Haza’a Abu Rabee, lecturer at American universities and researcher in religions and Semitic languages, along with researcher Khaled Awad, head of the Palestinian Archival Association and president of the Al-Sibat Association for the Preservation of Culture and Heritage in Nazareth, during an introductory visit to the Samaritan Museum on Mount Gerizim.
The visit included a fruitful discussion on prospects for cooperation in various related fields, in ways that serve the preservation of the region’s distinguished civilizational heritage.
The visiting delegation was also introduced to the religious and historical heritage of the Samaritan community, and viewed the museum’s exhibits that document the Samaritans’ heritage, history, and unique traditions

We had the honor of welcoming to the Samaritan Museum both Dr. Hazza Abu Rabee’, a lecturer at American universities and a researcher in religions and Semitic languages, and Dr. Adnan Attallah, President of the Ashwaq Al-Rabee’ Association for Cancer Patient Support, on an introductory visit to learn about the Samaritan community and its unique religious and cultural heritage.
During the visit, Priest Husni presented a comprehensive overview of Samaritan history and traditions, guiding the guests on a tour through the museum’s halls to explore its distinguished exhibits. The meeting also included discussions on future cooperation and ways to strengthen academic and cultural ties in service of shared goals.
The guests expressed their admiration for the museum’s contents, including manuscripts, artifacts, paintings, and books. They purchased a selection of books from the gift corner, while Dr. Abu Rabee’ expressed his full readiness to translate Mount Gerizim: The Gate of Heaven and other works by Priest Husni, recognizing their religious and historical value in promoting global awareness of Samaritan heritage.
